1. About This Service

Patagonia Forecast is a professional weather intelligence platform operated by GeoForestal Patagonia SpA, a company registered in Chile (RUT 76584912-8), providing sector-specific meteorological forecasts for Torres del Paine National Park.

By purchasing access to Patagonia Forecast, you agree to these Terms of Service in full.

2. The Product

The "10-Day Forecast Access Pass" grants access to the TRIP Mobile weather platform for a period of 10 days from the date of first activation. The validity period begins when you first enter your PIN on the platform — not when the purchase is made.

Access is granted via a personal PIN code delivered by email after payment is confirmed.

3. Permitted Use

Access is granted for personal, non-commercial use by the individual purchaser. You may not share, resell, or transfer your PIN to third parties.

The platform is designed to support trekking decisions in Torres del Paine. It is an informational tool and does not replace professional mountaineering judgment, official park authority guidance, or emergency services.

4. Disclaimer of Liability

Weather forecasts are inherently probabilistic. Patagonia Forecast provides data sourced from Tomorrow.io and Open-Meteo meteorological models at 1 km² resolution. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that forecasts will reflect actual conditions at any specific time or location.

GeoForestal Patagonia SpA shall not be held liable for any decisions made based on the information provided by this platform, including but not limited to trekking route changes, activity cancellations, or safety incidents.

5. Digital Product — No Physical Delivery

Patagonia Forecast is a purely digital service. No physical goods are shipped. Upon successful payment, your PIN is delivered automatically to the email address provided at checkout.

6. Availability

We aim to maintain platform availability 24/7. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and are not liable for downtime caused by maintenance, server issues, or events beyond our reasonable control.

Forecasts are updated up to 4 times daily. If a technical issue prevents updates, we will endeavor to restore service within 24 hours.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any disputes shall be resolved under Chilean jurisdiction.
